Nov. 2011 WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!

Folks, We need your help. Animals are in danger....

When the Humane Society of York County moved recently to a new location we had to leave a colony of feral cats behind. (Ferals are cats that have been abandoned and have lived in the wild long enough to not want to socialize with people.)  Of course we feed them daily and continue to try and trap them to get them spayed and neutered.  Now the new owner of the building wants them out of their current location.  We have put up fliers, posted on our website, told every one that we need homes for our 'barn' cats - farms, ranches, acreage not close to a busy road.  We have had very little response. These cats would not make good indoor cats but would be great outside, keeping the rodent population down, as well as snakes.  They would still need to be fed daily and given a warm place to sleep, but they would be little trouble. These cats deserve to live, and I am desperate to find a way for them to do that!  Can you help?

Thank you for your time,
Vickie
