Congratulations to Maureen Christian this month Humane Society of York County's Volunteer of the month. Per our shelter manager Jean Ruddy, 'Maureen has been a faithful volunteer who has been dedicated to our beautiful cats . She shows such interest. She comes nearly every day during the week and has been a great help to the shelter staff, as well as, the animals. She gives the animals care, love, and attention which is so important to the everyday well-being of our furry friends. She has seen a lot of cats come in and she has seen a lot go out and has become such a part of the family at the shelter. So with that we are so happy to make her the volunteer of the month.'
