On Saturday, May 14th the Humane Society of York County had a yard sale at the future site of the Animal Shelter in Regent Park. Thank you to all who came out to make it a success. We brought in $720.00 which will go into the move fund. Now we are in the process of removing all items from this site. We've located another charitable source to pick up the many items remaining but WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP. We'll be meeting Tuesday May 17th at the site starting around 5:15 pm working as long as possible to get the items organized and ready for removal. The exciting news is that a cleaned out unit will remain so that we can start the process of up-fitting as soon as re-bids are agreed upon - which is targeted for May so that up-fitting can begin in June. Thank you again for your focus on helping our shelter get moved. It will soon be a reality because of each and every volunteer who steps in to help.
