Molly

Kim Steinbruck sent word about Molly the cat ~ I just wanted to tell you that we have moved to Beaufort, SC and Molly has, once again, adapted nicely to her new home.  What a trooper – 2 new homes in about 5 weeks time.  She seems very happy and has developed some new games to play – hide & seek and paper chase (with wads of rolled up paper) – along with getting exercise by running back and forth all over the house.  We have nicknamed her Thunder Cat because you can hear her galloping on the hardwood floors.  Sounds a lot like Thunder.   That sound always makes us smile.  She is a momma’s girl for sure and follows me everywhere.  During the day, when I’m working, she curls up on my desk.  In one of the photos she has smushed herself into my “inbox.”  Looks very uncomfortable but she does it often so she must like it.  When I get out of the shower, she is sitting on the bathroom sink waiting for me and when it’s bedtime, she follows us to the bedroom.  She sleeps with us often, but also enjoys sleeping on her tower looking out the window.  She also loves the screened in porch where she can get close to the birds and squirrels, but stay safe.  She is a joy and we love her dearly.

We’ve taken tons of pictures but have yet to upload them to the computer.  When we do, I’ll send a few more.  We still cannot believe she was there for a whole year.  Clearly she was meant to be with us.
