Annual Dog Gone Good Time Festival Fort Mill, SC
It’s finally here: the event you and your pup have been waiting for all year long. The Annual Dog Gone Good Time Festival will be here soon, and it’s time for you to get all of the details so you can properly prepare for a great time! Your friends at Good Kia have provided a guide to the fun afternoon here.
Nap Time Is Over!
The 6th Annual Dog Gone Good Time Festival will take place this year from 10 am until 2 pm on Saturday, September 26 at Walter Elisha Park in Fort Mill, SC. Walter Elisha Park is located at 345 North White Street.
During this event, your canine friend will have the opportunity to meet other local pups and new furry friends. The proceeds from the event will support the Humane Society of York County, which means you can feel good about an event that supports the proper treatment of animals in York County.
Who Will Be There?
Aside from all of your pup friends and their parental units, there will be several great local organizations attending the event with all of their wares for you to check out while your pup plays nearby. Event sponsors include Nutramax Laboratories Veterinary Sciences, Inc., Camp K9 Resort, Sheba’s Doggy Day Camp, Springs Insurance, Nascair Heating & Cooling, City Awning, and Vaisseaux Corp.
Vendors attending the event include Lesslie Animal Hospital, It Works! Global, Camp Bow Wow, Carolina Home Remodeling, Scentsy, and Define Canine Bakery. They’re still looking for sponsors and volunteers, so sign up online as soon as possible if you’re interested.
There will also be several other rescue organizations in attendance, including Companion Parrots Re-homed, Recycled Pets, Inc., Ruff Life Animal Rescue, Friends of York County Animal Shelter, God’s Grace Canine Rescue, Inc., and American Pitbull Foundation.
The Rules
Because the event is designed to be fun for everyone (owners and pets), there are several rules in place to keep everything running smoothly on the day of the event. We’ve listed them below so you can prepare yourself before heading out.
All dogs must have all up-to-date vaccinations.
Female dogs in heat aren’t welcome to attend.
Dogs must be kept on leash at all times.
You must maintain control of your pup at all times and clean up after your animals.
Water will be provided for all pets in attendance, but if your pet needs her or his own water bowl, you might want to bring one with you.
