Fort Mill Times Featured Pet * Molly

Molly’s journey began as a puppy at a local shelter where a Good Samaritan saved her moments before she was to be euthanized.  Her dreams of a new life were cut short when her new owner could no longer take care of her.  Molly found herself living in a shelter again.  But this shelter was different.  The Humane Society of York County, where Molly has lived for the past year and a half, is a no-kill shelter in Fort Mill where animals can reside until their owners adopt them.

Molly can barely contain her excitement when meeting people or going on field trips with volunteers.  You may have seen Molly jogging through the streets of Baxter Village or boating or swimming on Lake Wylie with a volunteer.

Molly greets every day with enthusiasm and optimism.  She is waiting patiently for that special person to walk through the shelter door to bring her home.

If you share Molly’s passion for enjoying life and the great outdoors, please stop by to visit her at the Humane Society of York County located at 2036 Carolina Place, Fort Mill, SC.  You will soon see how much more enjoyable your life will be with a new best friend named Molly.
